ABOUT ME

I am a lifetime resident of Sussex County, Delaware,  and I received my certificate as Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) from Delaware Technical College. I have worked 29 years as a private health care aide, and I have experience helping clients who are dealing many health issues, including, but not limited to:

 

• hospice

• dementia

• injury recovery

• Parkinson’s disease

• cancer

 

SERVICES

I am available to help people who are elderly, disabled, or ill, and assist them with their daily living activities and basic health monitoring in their homes. Some of the many home health services which I provide include:

 

• Helping with bathing, showering, grooming, shaving, and oral care.

• Helping with getting in and out of bed, walking, and using the toilet.

• Helping with selecting and putting on clothes.

• Preparing meals and providing assistance with eating.

• Keeping the patient’s bed and immediate area clean.

• Doing laundry for the patient’s bedding and clothing.

• Checking and recording pulse, temperature, respiration rate, and blood pressure.

• Prompting clients when it is time to take prescribed medications, or administering prescribed medicines.

• Helping with prescribed physical therapy exercises. 

• Changing simple bandages or caring for skin and braces, depending on state rules.

• Providing companionship.

PRICING

Pricing is based on an hourly charge (usually $30 per hour) that is set after I speak with the client, when I can assess what level of patient care is requested and needed.
